Secretary-General Letter

Hello! My name is Isaac Sadja, a junior at Patrick Henry High School, and it is my honor to serve as Secretary-General for HenryMUN Session 7! This is my 5th year of MUN, and my second year at the Secretariat for HenryMUN.

Back in 7th grade when I joined my first MUN conference, I walked into the Security Council having no idea on how to prepare speeches, the rules of ROP, or if I was in RSC or SC. The experiences I have had in MUN have improved my life overall, from public speaking to friendships, and I am hope to replicate that experience for people joining HenryMUN this year. Through HenryMUN, we hope to make the first impression of MUN for students in middle school an enjoyable, welcoming experience, along with providing high-level crises to experienced MUN seniors. Our primary goal for these last few years has been to provide a welcoming, challenging, and exciting debate environment for delegates of all levels. I hope that all of our delegates engage in diplomacy, debate, and discussion without feeling overwhelmed or intimidated. 

We have spent the last few years growing HenryMUN into both a middle school-friendly experience in our GAs as well as fast paced in our unique crisis committees, and I hope to continue and heighten those goals in the upcoming year.
